Josselyn Timko

Josselyn Timko is the heartbeat of the Driven Foundation, a dedicated and selfless leader who has been the driving force behind our community outreach efforts since 2012. Known for her genuine relationship-building skills and her heart of gold, Josselyn, or “JT” as we affectionately call her, is one of the most spirited and kind-hearted individuals you’ll ever meet. Her passion for her community and her unwavering commitment to making a difference has made her an invaluable asset to our team and the broader community.

With a deep-rooted love for helping others, Josselyn has successfully spearheaded numerous outreach initiatives, leading to the distribution of over 1.7 million pounds of food to families in need, the provision of 3,200 backpacks filled with essential school supplies, and the development of youth leadership programs in more than 25 schools across Ohio. Her relentless drive and compassionate approach have touched countless lives and have established her as a cornerstone of our organization.

Josselyn’s journey to the Driven Foundation began in her hometown of State College, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Bucknell University, she majored in Child and Personality Psychology, laying the foundation for her career in community relations and outreach. Her passion for sports and people led her to begin her career with the New England Patriots in 1999, where she worked in media relations. In 2000, she transitioned to the New Orleans Saints as the Media and Community Relations Coordinator, serving for three years before taking on a pivotal role as a Player Engagement Consultant with the Los Angeles Chargers from 2002 to 2006.

Josselyn’s extensive experience in sports and community relations didn’t stop there. She went on to become the Director of All-Pro Running Back Deuce McAllister’s Catch-22 Foundation, where she managed and developed outreach programs that made a lasting impact. Her impressive career also includes work with non-profit organizations associated with NFL legends such as QB Drew Brees, Hall of Fame Linebacker Junior Seau, and Hall of Fame Quarterback Brett Favre. In 2010, Josselyn was hired by the United Football League (UFL) as the Vice President of Player Relations and Community Outreach, later serving as the Director of Media Relations and Player Development for the Omaha Nighthawks.

Since joining the Driven Foundation, Josselyn has become the MVP of our team, consistently going above and beyond to ensure our outreach efforts are impactful and meaningful. Her strategic vision, coupled with her deep empathy and love for the community, continues to inspire everyone around her. Josselyn Timko is not just a leader; she is a true champion for those in need, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her guiding our outreach programs.

With her impressive background in both professional sports and community engagement, Josselyn Timko is the embodiment of dedication, passion, and excellence. Her legacy of service and her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others have made her a respected and beloved figure in the world of community outreach.
