Community Clean Up
Community Improvement Starts with its Members
Every city has a neglected street. While every street is equal, it doesn’t seem this way when resources are spread thin and some neighborhoods are harder to keep clean.
Our community clean up program creates service projects to clean and improve Columbus city streets. By picking up trash and clearing alleyways, our Community Clean Up teams make streets a better place for everyone while providing opportunities for justice-involved individuals to take an active part in bettering their community.
Highlights from the Clean Up at Hilltop
Driven recently partnered with Columbus to provide clean up services in alleyways in the Hilltop area. More than 35 Community Based Correctional Facility participants joined in on the five-day project and cleaned up over 48,000 pounds of trash, debris, and brush removed from the area—including more than 150 tires, 45 mattresses, and 30 couches and chairs collected.

Driven also provided clean-up services around South Linden, where more than 40 justice-involved individuals invested 460 hours to help beautify their community. During the three-day project, 30,000 pounds of trash were removed from four miles in the neighborhood.
