IMPACT | KEEP CLAWING

At New Lexington Schools our mission is to promote the highest level of educational achievement for all students. We seek to maximize all students’ potential and challenge them to be life-long learners and responsible citizens. We hold high expectations for all learners and strive to create a positive school climate that emphasizes school spirit!

Over the last three years the Driven Foundation has worked with our schools to provide funding through corporate and private donations. These donations are then returned to each of our schools. Through these funds, each of our buildings has been able to enhance our programs in various ways that help us “stay Driven” toward our overall mission.

Some ways the students have benefited from our partnership with Driven include:
• Student of the Month shirts
• Quarterly student recognition
• End of the year Good Citizen cookout
• “Coins for Christmas” supporting families in need

Former OSU football players read to all Junction City, and New Lexington Elementary K-5 students. Each student then received an autographed copy of the book while meeting the former Buckeye players.

In addition to receiving support from Driven, this program provided an opportunity for our students to serve others. All buildings participated in a food drive that supported the Perry County Food Bank.
