Driven Community Relations Director, Josselyn Timko was born in State College, PA. She attended Clearfield Area High School before attending Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. While completing her undergraduate degree in psychology, Josselyn worked as Manager for the D1-AA Football Team. Under the supervision of then Head Coach Tom Gadd, she was asked to coordinate community outreach programs for the football players throughout the school year. This cultivated her passion for helping athletes give back to their communities.
During her senior year at Bucknell, she applied to various NFL teams in search of an internship opportunity as a Community Relations Director. The New England Patriots provided her with this opportunity, and she proceeded to relocate to the Foxboro, MA area to complete an internship.
Following an internship with the New England Patriots, she moved to New Orleans to accept a full time position as Media & Community Relations Director /Manager for the Saints. She resigned from the New Orleans Saints to begin a consulting business helping athletes do community outreach and prepare for life after football.
Josselyn’s list of consulting work included coordinating and leading a Rookie Club at the San Diego Chargers, Executive Director of Deuce McAllister’s Catch 22 Foundation, assisting with the foundations for RB Jerious Norwood, FB Mike Karney, WR Michael Lewis, DB Steve Gleason, and RB Ricky Williams.
In 2010 Josselyn served as Player Development and Community Relations Director for the United Football League. In 2011 she assumed the role of Vice President of Communications for the UFL’s Omaha Nighthawks, before joining the Driven Foundation as Community Relations Director in 2012.
